TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I recently upgraded to Adobe Technical Communication Suite (ATCS) 2020 (including FrameMaker 2020 and RoboHelp 2020).
Previously, I had been using ATCS 4 (with FrameMaker 11 and RoboHelp 10).
I have a technical question regarding the conversion of my old ATCS 4 files to new ATCS 2020 files.
Previously, I had a FrameMaker 11 project and a RoboHelp 10 project. The RoboHelp 10 project was linked to the FrameMaker 11 project to allow single sourcing.
I have just done the following:
* I have converted the old Frame 11 project to a new Frame 2020 project.
* I have converted the old RoboHelp 10 project to a new RoboHelp 2020 project.
QUESTION: How do I link the new RoboHelp 2020 project to the new Frame 2020 project (so I can continue to do single sourcing)?
In other words, I want the RoboHelp 2020 project linked to the Frame 2020 project... so that any change made in the Frame 2020 project will be automatically reflected in the RoboHelp 2020 project.
Thank you for your reply!
Yours,
Keith
