I'm just keeping my fingers crossed. So far my contract seems secure --
the client still has business, I'm their only tech writer, and I do a
lot of things other than write end-user docs.
It'd sure be nice if the stimulus were set up to help contractors. But
I've always assumed that that was one of the downsides to contracting
-- the risk that work would evaporate, and there'd be no
unemployment/etc. to come to the rescue.
I'll be happy to hear if it's otherwise,
-Monique
