Does anyone remember the very first "manual" for HTML?Â
The one I recall was all of 9 typed pages and for some reason came from a Norwegian author. I'd appreciate verification, if anyone else remembers that little "document".Â
I think it could have been as early as 1993, when I was at Sun Micro in Menlo Park (aka Sun Quentin, now Facebook).
I too remember Ventura Publisher, but not as well as some of you guys. I used it on my first tech writing gig at SAIC (a "Star Wars" black project) in Santa Barbara in 1988. I spent more time on Vax/VMS, but I remember pumping out a few ground-based radar docs using that software.
It's not often that I chime in on these discussions, but the pinging in my brain from this particular thread became too loud for me to resist.
