It depends on the terms of each contract.

If you're captive and working onsite (as through an agency), you should
normally expect a check every two weeks.

But I'm an independent working remotely. For most of my clients, they're
Net 15. One is Net 30. Still another (a favored multinational from which I
get a lot of work every month) is Net 60.
