I was doing layout long before I'd given thought to translation. Given
that, I modeled earlier efforts after what I had learned from a purely
composition standpoint. I had screenshots wherever it made sense to place
them in relation to corresponding wrapped text.

But I'm working on health/medical-related IFUs destined for a global
audience. Like it or not, it means centered inline images for the most
part. Or images placed within borderless tables.

Compare:

Klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste

This is a simple example, but it illustrates how my former word-wrap method
doesn't cut it given a global audience.

Please chime in if you have creative ideas as to how to address this
problem. I prefer aesthetics, but a user manual isn't any good unless it
actually *helps* readers.
