I have discovered that a poorly written job post is not always the fault of
the company that has the open req. I have had some great experiences
working on projects that at first I was inclined to reject based on the job
post.

I'm with Lauren and Rick in guessing that they are looking for people who
can write about automotive or mechanical procedures and/or products. I
personally know someone who designs high-tech valves for several industries
including oil extraction and refining, chemical and medical.
