Emoto told me privately that "noob" is well versed in chem and lab stuff. Chemists are weird and individualistic, but generally desirous of following safe methods, lest they get burnt or poisoned. Fear not. She's just a chemist writing up procedures, not a rocket scientist. Rocket scientists, on the other hand are a breed of death-wish chemists who willingly work with stuff like chlorine pentafluoride. She won't be doing that.
