When encountering a dilemma such as you relate it is occasionally helpful to question the design and the presentation.

- Who are your target audience?

- Are you telling them your story effectively, or are you overwhelming them?

- What are the three key points, and how can you illustrate them with "just enough" supporting data?

I know the style rule of thumb not to use a bullet for a single item.
However for a two page flyer, I have several subheaders with multiple
items bulleted -- except for the first one which has only one item. I
have this [single] bulleted too, and from an aesthetic (lining up the
item over the other bulleted items in the other sections; subliminal
appearance) it looks good. But I could of course remove the bullet
from the orphan item and align its first letter on its line at the same
point as to where the bullets below it are aligned. But the slight
formatting difference would stand out.
Opinions?
