Do all those docs really belong on your desk? Most of them sound like
marketing to me. And if they do belong on your desk, should they
really be updated rather than deprecated?

Yes, they're marcomm, and I work on those too, when asked and when I have time.

And yes, we want to update/fix the datasheets by moving the "extra" info from the too-long-datasheets into new docs. And so I'm exploring what to call these new docs. Hence my search to figure out what makes up a Product Bulletin vs. an Application Note, etc.

And when I know what these docs should contain, I'll know, based on what the "extra info" turns out to be, what doc to use.
