Anybody know how to do this?

I found this:

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010-powerpoint/how-to-resize-slide-dimensions-without-resizing/01ab1794-2dbd-45ae-8aa4-8be1a7bc3ec3?auth=1

but if I edit the XML that way PowerPoint says the file has an problem
and it can't repair it.

I have PowerPoint for Mac 2011 14.4.3. I suppose I could try the
Windows version, I think my license lets me install that as well.
