I'm not sure I understand the problem. You're looking to recover a file
that you deleted without meaning to. A file recovery utility (and there are
lots out there, Recuva just happened to be the first Google result) should
recover ANY file type. It won't open it, but it will undelete it so that
you can open it in whatever your archive utility is.
