In theory, you could use entanglement to communicate instantaneously
between any two points in the universe. What would be communicated is
information.

It is pretty science fiction-ish. One possible explanation I've read
is (assuming I understood the argument) that the universe we perceive
is a sort of projection of a more complex reality in which the two
entangled particles are joined in some dimension we can't perceive.
