"Invoice Cosby" has so much potential for humor and yet is a very disappointing Google search given his recent adventures.

On a serious note, it seems like tech writing *is* a second/encore/what-have-you career for a lot of people (myself included). A quick Google search reveals lots of articles on how to become a technical writer generally speaking but not much aside from the aforementioned pretty sad attempt on the specific subject of transitioning to technical writing as a second career. I wonder if it merits talking about further?
