I had the same problem with Win 7 and Win 8.1. But it may be that the
problem is the browser.
Microsoft Support offers a "hot fix" and acknowledges "A file copy operation
fails when files or folders have long paths in Windows Explorer ... fails
and generates a message that states that the path (file name) is too long.
..."

Which begs the question, why can't Windows 7 perform the same function as
Windows XP?

The\filename\includes\the\lengthy\path\structure.

Perhaps create a folder named *C:\Copy*, copy the files to there, and then
(once aboard) move them to where you'd like them?
