I write for a call center to be able o understand certain software updates relating to billing, data entry, etc. luckily I worked on the phones in that same department taking calls and using that software for three and a half years before moving up to training assistant and then tech writer. Some new technologies and software are hard to learn when I have many projects to juggle. It helps that I'm a SME in most of the systems or I'd be in trouble. :-)
