Has anyone recommended 'The ABCs of XYZ'?

It loses something if the product isn't actually called XYZ

"Handbook" would definitely be in keeping with making documentation less rigid and more user-centric.

I have created a new version of our Content Management User Guide to reflect significant changes to the page layout process in the CMS. However, the old guide will be needed for a period of time as users will still need it until they move to the new process. So both guides with similar titles will exist for a while. The issue we have is what to call the old guide. Someone has suggested calling it a "legacy" guide but I am wondering if there is a better name for it, e.g. the "Content Management Users Guide (name)" though (name) could be in a different position in the doc title. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi everyone,

A quick reminder that our Google Hangout / Fast 5 with The Hitchhiker?s Guide to XML Authoring White Paper Author, TechWhirler and XML expert Chris Despopoulos and Maxwell Hoffmann, Adobe?s Global Product Evangelist for its Technical Communication Suite is next Wednesday, October 8 at 12PM eastern time.

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll hopefully learn a little bit about XML and how to bring it to your organizations (or avoid it).

More info and to submit a question to Chris / Maxwell:

Take care,
al
