Whereas “electric engineer” would need no organic fuel but would be very expensive to operate!

OK, I’m leaning toward “electrical”—it does seem more natural to say “electrical repair”. I was getting a bit over-analytical I think. If I were to take this any further I’d take Peter’s suggestion and hand out different versions and poll the target audience.
