Unfortunately, Mercedes data presentation is the least objectionable aspect of their information system. Between the mind-bendingly awful user interface and their so-called data organizing principles, they are far and away the most difficult of the automotive companies to deal with. It will come as no surprise that the runners-up are also German companies; BMW and Porsche.

People think I'm joking when I say that I find it hard to believe they're of the same species.
(Okay, I'm HALF joking.)

I think the fact that a table is used may be immaterial to the fact that the that's the worst presentation for that kind of information I've seen in years. I pity the mechanics who have to use it. No wonder foreign car repairs are so expensive. I'd have a horrible time keeping my place in those instructions.
