Please look at Help & Manual as well. Flexible, powerful, has builds and variables and other great features. Best of all, it is a small-devoted-team product, with a very active presence in its own support forum.

I used it for four years to produce online help in various forms as well as static manuals in several forms. For several products that had slight differences. That required using variables for product name and for certain features. All from one base file.

It was simple. It was straightforward. The tool was inexpensive compared to the behemoths. When I had problems the main support guy helped me out, and the lead developer paid attention and fixed the bug or tweaked the feature in due course,

Check it out.
