I agree with Matthew. I've been in this racket for 25 years and have been
on my share of interviews that ultimately made me feel as though I'd driven
over a cliff. After a day or two, however, I'm reminded that it simply
"wasn't meant to be"... otherwise it would have happened. And as time went
on, I came to realize that often the interviewers were actually doing ME a
favor by not including me on their team. Ultimately it was their loss, for
my track record is extensive and my deliverables many. Yeah, it's initially
a bummer, but it's all for the best.
