I keep thinking of OptiGrab, the "invention" by Nathan Johnson (Steve
Martin) in the movie "The Jerk". Sounded great until everyone went
cross-eyed and sued. I remember the scene where he was drunkenly
hand-writing individual checks for a dollar and change to each of the
class action plaintiffs/class members.
