It doesn't really matter whether it's an exclusive agency contract. If any recruiter submits you the hiring company is probably going to disqualify any other attempt to get your resume into their hands to avoid potential problems with the recruiter. I would suggest you get back to the recruiter ASAP and notify them in writing that you are withdrawing your permission for them to present you to the employer. If the hiring company hasn't received your resume from them yet you may have a chance to be considered. If it already has, your message may have sunk your chances of being considered even through that recruiter.
