Evernote, eh? I use it to record ideas, but not as a voice recorder yet.

Craig,
Let me tell tou how this works: Whenever you post a "this is the best" message, it would help if you also shared the name of the app you use. Then we can enjoy countless hours of flaming pleasure debating the merits of other apps and stray off topic into other non-app related territory.
I'll start: I use Evernote for everything. I just upgraded to Premium level through a Mac Heist promotion and I think I will keep it after my 15 months is up. Evernote has a great recording system on it that continues to record as I type notes. I would see myself using my iPad in the middle of the table, and type notes on the separate keyboard.
What I would like is something that can record phone calls. Phone interviews are locked by a regulation, so companies don't make it easy to get around it.
Cheers,
-Tony

Morning, Whirlers,
Nothing beats the digital voice recorder I bought for my Droid X. I use it for recording status meetings, interviews with SMEs, and a host of other things.
When I speak with a time-crunched programmer who needs to convey LOTS of information FAST, that $5 voice recorder saves the day every time.
Cordially,
Craig Cardimon
