Hi, guys...good afternoon
My developers have accepted my wish to have a meeting with them tomorrow to
outline some guidelines that I need followed for material that they are
submitting to me.
By definition of what we do here, the last 48 hours of each cycle are an
absolute fire drill and after last cycle deadline, they understand that
small things they can do will cut down on my part of the cycle, thereby
giving them more time by me needing less.
Being that you don't know my details, and because of where I am, I can't
give any, I'm instead showing as example, the first three items on my list
(of about 20) that should give you an example of what I'm looking for. Any
other ideas that others may require on material submission?
Format cells in Excel spreadsheets properly.
Numbers are no decimal, with commas
Dollars and percentages are no decimal with symbol ($ or %)
Do not combine data from different scenarios in the same file. OK to
attach multiple files in the same email.
File name should always contain, at minimum, scenario number, file date
and file time (i.e., DS151_12-30_8-45) because files that are placed in
emails as attachments do not show file date and time and when files are
moved in Sharepoint,, their date and time stamp change
Thanks
John Posada
