Thanks to all of you for suggestions about how to announce new software features.
Just a bit of clarification - our new features guide is a standalone PDF, not part of the software user guide. However, the new features guide contains step-by-step procedures that also go into the user guide, hence my concerns about duplication. An additional concern, which several respondents also addressed, is how to make sure readers see the information, whether duplicated or not.
You've all given me many options to think about, which is just what I needed. This community is very helpful!
Thanks,
Rebecca
