Well, in most cases the people reading the drawings don't spell any better
than the people making them.

However, this is one benefit of being included in the design reviews. As
long as they're going to have to go into the drawing to fix the technical
comments, it's no big deal to them to fix the spelling errors if someone
points them out.

Or, you could beat on the CAD managers' heads to get the engineers and
designers to leave the ACAD spell checker on.
