I'm using FM 7.2 on 64-bit Win 7 Enterprise in compatibility mode. IIRC, I tried multiple compatibility settings -- at least XP SP2 and XP SP3, maybe Win 2000 -- and settled on XP SP2. It's stable, but painfully slow (Core2 Duo 2.33GHz, 8GB RAM).
In native (non-compatibility) mode, it was fast, but routinely crashed whenever I drag-selected text with the mouse. Do you know how hard it is to break yourself of the habit of selecting with the mouse? :-(
