If you only keep tax returns for seven years, why would you keep draft
documents any longer?
I've worked at jobs for a couple of years and thrown everything out
when I left the job. So if they got sued after I left they'd only
have the archived versions on the server. Just because you're a
contractor doesn't hold you to any higher standard of holding onto
files.
