Don't give in so quickly, Guy, because I think Leonard is off base here (unless he's making some pun or joke that I'm missing, being the literal-minded person I am).

Traveling from one window to another would be interfenestration, just as in intercontinental or international travel.

According to Merriam-Webster.com, there are two meanings of "trans" as a prefix that legitimately fit your meaning.
One is "on or to the other side of : across : beyond <transatlantic>" and the other is "through <transcutaneous>".
