Congratulations! And thanks for announcing your success.

I had some health issues and, as a result am partially disabled. My former employer took this as an opportunity to get rid of me. Because I was off on short-term disability during a crucial part of a major project and because chronic pain, that could not be managed with drugs, made me a crabby girl, they gave me a poor performance appraisal. People with poor performance appraisals don't get benefits like work permits. I could have fought if I wasn't as I'll as I was. In the famous Monty Python way, "I'm feeling much better!" but, the truth is I am still partially disabled. I'm still holding out for an alternative, part-time contracting, an employer who'd spring for this: http://www.techfresh.net/novelquest-emperor-pc-workstation/.

Some mornings I wake feeling as positive asTony Tiger; other days I am more like the GM Super Bowl commercial, a bit grim. Most days, I hobble about looking for the boundaries of my ability ad planning projects I think I can manage.
