Subject: Suggest something else besides Leverage
We have a new marketing guy who loves to use the word leverage, as in
"Leverage the features of our wonderful product to improve your life."
When I search for similar uses on the Internet, I find this usage is not
so common yet.
I've been given the opportunity to edit this stuff, but the only other
words I can think of that come close are "exploit", which has a nasty
undertone, and "take advantage of", which is a bulkier phrase than the
single word leverage.
I realize "use" would work as well, but it's not splashy enough for
marketing. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Karen Felker

disagrees with you, let him live. In a hundred billion galaxies, you
will not find another." -Carl Sagan, astronomer and writer (1934-1996)
