Sylvia Mintz's 10th grade English class lasted only one year, but it
certainly felt long and intensive. After 34 years, every new document is
still influenced by Mrs. Mintz's sharp, red pen.

There was a time when "learning to write well" was what we did during
Grades 1-12. I don't know how everyone else remembers that part of their
lives, but I would definitely describe mine as "long and intensive."
