You're right, Kevin. See

2.6.11, but I think it's been that way for quite awhile.

Are you sure?

I haven't used Gimp for a few weeks, but I think I recall that you CAN
set vertical and horizontal separately, but you can also tie/lock them
proportionally and just change one - the other resizes in tandem.

Or am I thinking of another app?
