Cell phone vs. molecular phone
Mobile phone vs. homebound phone

(Not as fun as "madeupical," but I'm trying...) Actually, I never found "cell phone" to be very intuitive. I much prefer mobile, but that's not common American English usage.

Yes, but kids today don't know about "Landlines" or "Wirelines" most
homes use cordless telephones.

I think we need to set up a new term to use for an international
standard for this age group.
