Comic strip characters

Hi all,

 

I'm trying to expand my repertoire of communication skills. Recently, I read
of Doonesbury's (www.doonesbury.com) 40-year success and a dull light bulb
crackled over my head.

 

Does anyone know a good source of cartoon animal images? (Or does any artist
on the list fancy collaborating on a new comic strip?)
