PS: I wonder if your printer driver files or some configuration files have been corrupted. This problem may not be actually in FrameMaker. Do you have any problems saving files in any other formats from other applications?

Use some application other than Frame to copy the backup file to a thumb drive. Sneakernet that file to a colleague's computer and create the PDF there. Worry about getting the product made on time and saving your job before you try to troubleshoot the root cause.

Whoa!!
Here's something NOT needed late on a Friday afternoon with a BIG
project looming!
FrameMaker 8 on a Windows XP platform: Beginning about 3 or so this
afternoon (Eastern Time), Frame stopped producing post script files.
Nor can I "Save as pdf" from Frame.
The resulting filename is correct, but it's always 0 kb. I tried
other files from other and much earlier jobs with same results.
I CAN, however, create pdf files from non-FrameMaker programs (Word).
I've made no changes to any setting whatsoever nor changed out any
hardware and yes, this is a legally purchased and registered version of FM.
My two coworkers also with legal FM's on their terminals do NOT have
this problem.
