We use Sharepoint, Visual Source Safe and CVS on my present contract,
and I have to say it's not been a picnic. Maintaining version control
of binary files is a tremendous waste of time. Your only recourse for
determining differences is Word's blackline tool.
I'm excited that BeyondCompare compares the data in spreadsheets, and
displays pixel differences in image files.
I haven't found anything that cross-compares Visio, though I'm
starting to enjoy working with the program itself.
