New Question - Word 2007 Captions

I have a series of tables in a document that the customer would like numbered as per the section they appear in.
So section 5.4 would be table 5.4-1, section 5.6.1 would be table 5.6.1-1 etcetc.

I have tried everything I can think of - section breaking, new page, etc.

And no matter what, if I change the caption on one table, all of the rest change to that heading style.
So the first table in Section 5.4 is coming out as table 5.3.2-1 if I make the numbering style level 3; but that's the table that needs the level 2 style.


Any ideas?
