Co-Author MS Word (2007) Documents in Real-Time

All,

I compiled a mini list of tools that may allow us to Co-Author MS
Word Documents in Real-Time (listed below).
I would like to what you are using and get your feedback and
recommendations. (Note: we are using Word 2007 and we have Sharepoint 2007).

*Tools I have used:*


·         Teamviewer Remote desktop – Very efficient, free, and
secure.  Users have to look at the document at the same time and do the
edits at the same time (requires a meeting and may require a phone/skype
conversation).

·         Acrobat – we have the tools. It works very nicely and is secure
but we have to merge the changes back into Word (or can it be imported?).



*I have googled these but I don't know anything about it:*

·         *Coword* – free but supports only Word 2003

·         *Docverse  *–* *combo of Word and googledocs (does it work and
security issue?) http://www.docverse.com/

·         *Central Desktop ?*

·         *Live office ?          *

·         *Office 2010/Sharepoint 2010*     Very costly upgrade
