If nobody offers an automated way to do it, via the interface,
then a bonehead approach might be to simply create a row
just after the split (top of the second page), put the
word "Continued" or "(cont.)" in the first cell, and merge
the cells of that row.

Of course, if your table changes and reflows often, don't

But, if you already control the starting point - say,
at-or-near the top of a page, perhaps just under a
heading or caption - and you don't often add or subtract
rows in the table, then the split at the bottom of the
page would tend to remain stable, so the above suggestion
would tend to remain viable for a while.
