This may not help your particular problem, but several years ago when
RoboHelp went to Version 7 (I think), we had similar problems (not the
same message, though) with generating Help. (For a short time, however,
there was a situation where Word didn't work at all with the new version
of RoboHelp, but I'm guessing that isn't your problem.) We solved them
by reinstalling Word. If all else fails, you might try that.

Subject: RoboHelp: Generating Printed Documentation: $StylePrepFile.htm
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to generate printed documentation (a Word file) in RoboHelp.
(Under Single Source Layouts, I right click on "Printed Documentation"
and select "Generate.")
I've never had any problems with this before. Now, I get this error
message as RoboHelp attempts to generate the Word doc:
"$StylePrepFile.htm caused a serious error the last time it was opened.
Would you like to continue opening it?"
RoboHelp does generate a Word doc, but it is mostly empty. There's a
title page, TOC page, and Index page, but no topic text.
Any ideas what is going on? Thanks.
