Acronym Question

Hoping to get a group answer on this.

Acronyms in Titles -

Ie, such as "Housing Analysis (HA)"

I have often defined the acronym upon first use in the document or section, but where I have worked, they have not used them in the titles.

Do people define the acronym in the title and then again in the body? I have seen it both ways, but I am not sure which is correct.
