Actually, the PDF that IBM publicly posted included multiple copyright
notices.
Web pages with copyright notices are often removed from the Web. (For
billions of examples, see http://www.archive.org/web/web.php.) Should we
assume that they were all posted inadvertently, and that the authors now
want them to be deleted from the local PCs that accessed them when they
were publicly available?
