Re: Ampersands in TOC and headers?

I have used ampersands in chapter titles and headings and no one has  
come to my castle with
torches and pitchforks yet.

On the other hand, I also frequently use contractions and the  
editorial people get really mad at me about that, so
grain of salt, etc.
