Ah, that was smart! Useful too, for the rest of us.

Thank you, everyone, for such quick responses. I'm in pursuit of
various style issues, and it's useful to have several reputable
(tech) style guides to refer to. I hadn't realized my copy of the
IBM guide had gone so out of date.

I wish more were published. I wouldn't mind paying. Just would like
to have the references handy.

Thanks again to all those who responded. I'm a happy camper now.
