Subject:Spell, grammar, and style checker for Firefox... From:David Neeley <dbneeley -at- gmail -dot- com> To:TECHWR-L <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Tue, 2 Feb 2010 10:44:01 +0200
Automattic, the company behind WordPress, purchased a tool called
"After the Deadline" this past year to add spell, grammar, and style
check capabilities to WordPress.
Witnin the past few days, they have released an add-on for Firefox
that extends this capability to the browser. It works with Web forms,
web-based email (I tested it on Gmail a few moments ago), and
apparently with any sort of text you compose in your browser.
There is a video of the extension in use there, as well as
documentation and FAQs.
Enjoy!
David
