I'm not a RoboHelp guy but it seems to me that CSS is a solid, viable
answer.
First off, there are not "tabs" in HTML, so they need to go away. If they've
gone away you need a new solution.
It seems that it'd be easy to re-apply styles to the FM content that will
apply indentation to the code.
Code1 - 0 indent
Code2 - 0.25 indent
Code3 - 0.5 indent
...
Map Code1-CodeN to matching CSS styles which have a progressive indent,
perhaps 0.0em, 0.5em, 1.0em ...
There are other solutions, such as tables, but they won't be as portable.

Subject: How
I have several examples of programming code that have tabulated indentations
in the FrameMaker documents I have inherited.
But when I convert to RoboHelp, the tab stop is only recognized by a single
space.
What would be the best way to deal with this? There are so many examples,
and sometimes there can be multiple levels.
Remember, all these manuals have already been written in Framemaker, so the
less I have to manipulate these samples, the better!
Missy
