Yowza! It works! Thanks Suzette!

1. I opened an existing pdf, and . . ..

2. Found and left-clicked on "Enable for Commenting and Analysis in Adobe Reader" under "Comments " in the menu bar at the top of the screen, and . . .

3. Re-saved the file.

I then -e-mailed that file to a terminal here equipped with only Reader -- and not Acrobat -- and had that guy open the file.

Under "Tools" in the menu bar at the top of his screen, the first item is "Comment and Markup" with a whole list of reviewing and markup tools.

Great! I owe you a coffee!

Hi Ken,

If you are using Adobe Acrobat Pro, or Pro Extended, you can send a PDF file for review. The Reviewers can use the commenting toolbar in Reader. If effect, you have "unlocked" those features for them.

This feature doesn't work with Acrobat Standard - only with Pro or Pro Extended.

I use this feature on a daily basis, so please don't hesitate to ask me any questions.
