To Paul,

Numerous performance issues... extremely slow on topic or book saves,
release state changes and most irritating, applying style tags. Slow to
open objects - if you click too fast, it opens multiple instances of the
same object, but in read-only mode. Slow on publishing, too. It crashes
if you close the app while a book object is open. We've been plagued
with bouncing cursors (where the cursor suddenly shifts to the left
margin, deposits a letter there, then just as suddenly returns to its
original place in line and continues the rest of the word you were
typing), unsaved changes (you spend an hour writing the perfect task,
click Save and "Object cannot be saved" !).

We've been asked to propose alternatives to test and see if a
replacement is warranted. I wouldn't mind reverting back to the 4.x
version. That worked flawlessly. AIT really goofed with this upgrade.

Thanks to all for the suggestions you sent me.

Patty B.

[quote] I have to ask. What is "wrong" with the latest version that it
would make you switch tools?
