It's been awhile, but I've found tips and links to many useful
PowerPoint resources over the years at: http://www.indezine.com/.

I also came across a few interesting sites while trying to recall the
one above, including: http://www.powerpointninja.com/,
http://presentationzen.blogs.com/presentationzen/2005/09/whats_good_powe
.html.

These days, googling for "better PowerPoint design" or something similar
yields a much vaster array of resources than in times past.
